Location
We are fortunate to have the use of the excellent facilities at Kirkbride Airfield where we fly 7 days a week from the secondary runway. Flying is limited to members only, but membership fees are reasonable for the fantastic facility we have. Any potential new members are advised to Contact the club.
Kirkbride Airfield is an active airfield with light aircraft in regular attendance. There is also a gyroplane school run from the site.

The Google Maps on this page will let you see exactly where we fly and how to get onto the airfield. You can zoom out to view the local area to see how to find us. It is fairly straight forward to find Kirkbride, simply leave Carlisle on Moorhouse Road (From McVities and past the Infirmary Hospital) just stay on the road for 9.5 miles. Continue straight through Kirkbride and take the first right AFTER leaving the village. You are now next to the airfield (its on your left). Turn into the second access on the left its 0.3 miles from the junction. If you get to the White Heather Hotel you have gone too far. |
